Batu Caves, Gombak, Malaysia. The popular limestone hill has many caves and is a sacred spot, visited by the locals as well as tourists. The temple complex is spread all over the hill – the main part Temple Cave is on top of it and you can reach it by climbing the 276 steps.
The site fascinates not only with its natural wonders, but also with tall Hindu statues. It is best to take a guided tour, which will introduce to the history and significance of Batu Caves. And also watch out for the monkeys, who try to steal the water bottles, but are another fun attraction.
