Cetara, Campania, Italy. Another beautiful town on the iconic Amalfi Coast, Cetara was established by the Saracens in the 9th century, who have built a settlement here after colonizing the area. The town also features a historic Norman tower named Erchie, that is built on top of a rock, overlooking the crystal clear Tyrrhenian Sea.
Cetara is an ancient fishing village, famous for its tuna. It is also known for its distinctive cuisine: try delicious dishes at three world-quality restaurants – Il Convento, Il San Pietro and L’Acqua Pazza. Needless to say, the ingredients are fresh, purchased straight from the fishermen. Also visitors get a bottle of local Anchovy sauce as a souvenir.

All year round, for the weather is mild here every season. Summer, however, is the most popular time.
How to get there?
By car – the town is found on the scenic Amalfi Drive. Also you can get here by boat from anywhere around the coast.
